All couriers are experiencing extreme delays at the moment with the unprecedented of volumes going through their systems. Regrettably, Couriers Please and Fastway seem to be the hardest effected.

Not only are there currently the highest volumes of freight going through (even compared to peak Christmas seasons), but many depots, drivers, and call centre staff are either in isolation, facing additional restrictions, understaffed due to covid capacity, or working from home.

Australia post even turned off collections for a few days last week to try and clear the back logs, so it looks like everyone is having a pretty tough time at the moment. Many couriers (StarTrack and Toll) are also striking across the country which is putting further strain on the networks.

I know that is no excuse to our customers, who simply want their package delivered, but I honestly have never seen delays like this across the board.
